JaxTHRIVE Leadership 2026-2027
Meet our leaders! The first JaxTHRIVE leadership council was formed in the spring of 2020 to bring together a group of talented and diverse teens who work together to lead our mission of JaxTHRIVE welcoming and tutoring refugee children.
Austin Koziarski is a senior at Ponte Vedra High School. He is honored to be JaxTHRIVE's co-president for the second year and works hard to make the Super Saturday experience great for both refugee kids and volunteers. His favorite contribution to JaxTHRIVE is partnering with VyStar Credit Union to offer a Financial Literacy Reality Fair to refugee families. He also enjoys organizing the annual Holiday Cozy Basket drive. He has served on his school's student council every year since fifth grade and is a graduate of Youth Leadership Jacksonville. Austin grew his knowledge and interest in finance by attending Economics for Leaders and Entrepreneurial Immersion summer programs. He also enjoyed serving on summer mission trips to Panama in '24, '25 and '26. Austin enjoys golf, football, the beach and cheering for the PV Sharks and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Greer Davis

Greer Davis is a senior at The Bolles School and is honored to serve as Co-President of JaxTHRIVE. Through the organization, she enjoys building relationships with refugee students while helping to create meaningful educational opportunities and a welcoming community. In addition to tutoring during Super Saturdays, she has organized school supply drives and partnered with the varsity lacrosse team to host clinics that introduce refugee children to the sport.

At school, Greer is Co-President of the mock trial team, a starting member of the varsity lacrosse team, and serves on Club Council, supporting more than 50 student organizations across campus. She also leads JaxTHRIVE's largest school chapter, helping organize volunteers and community service initiatives throughout the year. Her interest in law has inspired opportunities including Florida Girls State, a legal internship, and Youth Leadership Jacksonville. Outside of school, she enjoys coaching tennis, spending time with friends, walking, and going to the beach.
Sahana Desai is a senior at The Bolles School and is honored to serve as Co-President of JaxTHRIVE.
She helps direct the organization's social media outreach and is also her school chapter's Co-President. Deeply involved in her school community, Sahana serves on the Honor Council, plays on the Varsity golf team, and is a member of Bolles's Global Scholars Program.
Driven by her passion for being a globally-minded citizen, Sahana actively applies these values to her work with JaxTHRIVE and her local community. Outside of school, she holds the title of Miss Teen India Florida '24 and practices Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form that she also teaches to beginner dancers. In her free time, Sahana enjoys golfing, going to the beach with her friends, and babysitting. She is excited to continue working with JaxTHRIVE and supporting its mission.
