Sarah Park is a junior at the Bolles School. As the Co-President of JaxTHRIVE, she is passionate about building relationships with refugee students, helping them adjust to new environments, and supporting their academic success. In addition to her work with JaxTHRIVE, she has a strong passion for music, science, and mental health. By combining these interests, she won 3M America’s Top Young Scientist of 2021 and received a $25,000 prize for creating and developing Spark Care+, a personalized music therapy device. This project also led her to compete at both the 2022 and 2023 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, where she was awarded the 3rd place Grand Prize (’22, ’23). Sarah is also a young violinist serving as a concertmaster in Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra. She believes in the power of music and love to share her talent with the community, whether at schools, church, nursing homes, hospitals or wherever music is needed.
