A Night to Remember: JaxTHRIVE’s Annual Fundraiser Gala

The 2025 JaxTHRIVE Annual Fundraiser Gala at ABBQ was a huge success. It was a night filled with joy, purpose, and unity. With over 100 guests in attendance, the event brought together supporters, volunteers, and community leaders to celebrate and raise funds for our mission of empowering refugee students in the classroom and beyond.

The night buzzed with energy as guests  enjoyed live music by Dylan Bradley, indulged in delicious BBQ cuisine, and explored our silent auction, which featured a variety of exciting items donated by generous local businesses and artists. The warm atmosphere and shared sense of purpose made the evening truly special.

What made this event even more meaningful was the dedication of the JaxTHRIVE Leadership Team — a passionate group of high school students representing schools across Jacksonville. From planning and organizing to welcoming guests and sharing our mission, the student leaders worked tirelessly to ensure the evening was a success. We spoke about our favorite JaxTHRIVE experience from the past year which made the evening memorable.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we raised essential funds that will directly support our programs — from academic tutoring and mentorship to wellness and leadership initiatives.
