St. Augustine Homeless Coalition:
The COVID-19 pandemic also highlighted the needs of another overlooked, vulnerable and growing population in our community - homeless families.
We now offer virtual tutoring/mentoring and lead face-to-face STEM and art projects for the children living at the Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition in St. Johns County.
JaxTHRIVE volunteers are paired with children from the homeless coalition who need academic assistance. Days and times for virtual tutoring vary by student and tutor.
