Hi, my name is Carter Magnano and I am a junior at Ponte Vedra High School. As Co-President of JaxTHRIVE and a tutor for the past 7 years, I have had the unique opportunity to see our organization grow in size and expand in scope. This year, I will be co-piloting our new virtual SAT tutoring program. In addition to my work with JaxTHRIVE, I have also held a number of leadership positions in the past. I was President of both my elementary and middle schools. At Ponte Vedra High School, I have been a Student Council representative. I am a Youth Leadership Jacksonville program graduate, a Metrotown LOUD Leader and I served as a Captain of my JV lacrosse team during my freshman year.  I have used these opportunities to embrace diversity and learn how to work with many different types of people. These experiences have enabled me to assume a larger leadership role in many aspects of my life.
