Hi, I'm Mira Bhutani, a Junior at Ponte Vedra High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. As a member of JaxTHRIVE for more than two years, I have had the opportunity to work with some awesome students through organizations in Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, and Miami. Being a mentor has been an extremely rewarding experience as I am able to witness my mentees' growth in English and interpersonal skills. I currently serve as President of the Senior Connections club at my high school: a movement that helps bridge the generational gap by providing opportunities for volunteers to make crafts and play games with residents of memory care homes. In addition, I enjoy playing tennis, playing the guitar and piano, and sewing garments.
